Returns Policy

Your rights when returning a VTraK device and how the process works.

1. Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your VTraK device, without giving a reason.

This right does not apply to:

  • Devices that have been activated and registered to a vehicle
  • Business-to-business purchases
  • Personalised or bespoke configurations

2. How to Cancel or Return

To exercise your right to cancel or initiate a return, please contact us within the relevant timeframe:

  • Email: info@vfindr.co.uk with subject line "Return Request – [your order number]"
  • Include your name, order number, and reason for return

We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days and provide return instructions, including the return address.

3. Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a full refund, the VTraK device must be:

  • Returned in its original packaging
  • In unused, unactivated condition
  • Accompanied by all original accessories and documentation
  • Free from physical damage caused after delivery

We reserve the right to deduct from your refund an amount reflecting any diminished value of the device resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

4. Return Postage

You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or was sent in error. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned device, we will notify you of the outcome within 5 working days. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the return.

If you paid by credit or debit card, please allow additional time for your bank to process the refund (typically 3–5 business days).

6. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your VTraK device arrives damaged or develops a fault within the warranty period, please contact us at info@vfindr.co.uk with a description and photographs of the issue. Faulty items are covered under our warranty and you will not be charged for return postage.

7. Warranty

The VTraK device is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage caused by misuse or accidents
  • Damage caused by unauthorised modification or repair
  • Normal wear and tear
